Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Support for Community Resource Center The Rotary Club of San Diego Coastal supports the ongoing efforts of the Community Resource Center to provide for the basic needs of those most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. CRC has always been on the front lines - fighting hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in our communities. Domestic violence has been increasing due to strict quarantine. Vulnerable women and children need the help of CRC. Right now, as they tackle the havoc wrought by the COVID pandemic, the CRC resources are stretched thin. Donations of food and supplies are not adequate to meet the growing needs in our area. We would like to donate $500 to the CRC to enable additional purchases from local food banks at a very low cost. The grant will close as soon as funds are donated.
