Project Description Country: USA Location: HEB Total Budget: $2,400 Areas of Focus: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: Volunteer Services Summary: We need playground equipment, and freezer for food for our clients Our clients are victims of domestic violence. We help them for 2 years until they get on their feet. In our location, the kids need something to do while mothers are meeting with staff and getting services. We also have events for our clients. Our needs include: - $1,000 for playground equipment for the kids to play on to have safe fun. - $600 for an upright freezer to store frozen food for clients, - $500 for closets for clothes storage in a warehouse, - $300 shelves for food pantry. Total 2400.00. The freezer is so needed for the 250 women and kids we feed every month. Our other freezer broke 2 weeks ago. We need new freezer so we do not have turn away donated food. We have 6 grocery stores who give food items to us.
