Summary: Providing 1000 families with paints, brushes and bags (advertising Rotary) for annual window painting.
This event is an annual tradition for the Rotary Club of Downers Grove. Every year we partner with Downtown Management Corporation to support this great event in downtown Downers Grove. We provide paints, brushes and bags with Rotary logo on them to 1,000 families. The event is around Halloween each year. The children paint the windows in town. This event brings out families, store owners as well as restaurants. Our club is involved the day of the event. The night before you will see our club stripping off the windows for painting day. The whole town benefits from this great tradition. In addition, our local food pantry brings their truck and has a food drive. It is extremely successful.

This District Grant project cannot be approved. The club's 2020-2021 District Grant DDF allocation has been 100% utilized by P3226. P3226 COVID-19 Disaster Relief for $2013 DDF was submitted and approved on 4/17/20.
