Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Chicago

Total Budget: $2,070

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

Activity Type: Community Development: Disaster Recovery

Summary: The Rotary Club of Chicago will provide lunches to frontline workers in the fight against COVID -19.

The Rotary Club will identify various hospitals, medical facilities, senior housing facilities, etc, that are hit particularly hard by COVID-19 patients. We will provide healthy lunches to the staff to ensure that they do no need to leave the premises to obtain meals. We want them to know that these essential workers are appreciated and supported during this difficult time. The boxes lunches are labelled, identifying that the meals are from Rotary.
