Summary: 155 'Sweet Cases' Decorated, Assembled, and Filled with some Child Essentials, then Distributed to Foster Youth
When foster children are being moved from home to home, they are often given just a trash bag to carry their personal items. Did you know that a child can move between foster homes up to 13 times a year? "Sweet Cases" were created (by Together We Rise TWR) to provide foster children comfort and dignity during these difficult transitioning periods. Between Aug. 1, 2020 and Dec. 31, 2020 155 "Sweet Cases" will be purchased, decorated, and assembled by Rotarians and family members, then returned to TWR to be distributed to foster youth throughout Orange County, CA in need.
This project is "Paid". This means that the funds from the district have been issued. This project is now being ready for implementation. When this is done, a report needs to be uploaded on the project page and the "Reported" button needs to be clicked, then the status of the project will be changed to "Reported".
