Project Description Country: USA Location: Orange Total Budget: $7,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Provide funds to Teachers within Orange Unified School District for pr Grants will be provided to approximately 18 elementary Teachers within Orange Unified School District ranging in dollar amount from $200-$400. These funds will help educators come up with projects ranging from STEM to Planting and teaching kids about day to day life as well as other aspects of education. This project will take place in Fall 2020. A committee of several members of the club will will be participating by communicating with the OUSD and obtaining the applications from the teachers. These application will be reviewed for uniqueness, creativity and impact to students by these rotarians and dollars amounts and awardees will be chosen by a committee. These teachers will be awarded grants at Rotary meeting(s).
