Project Description

Country: Mexico

Location: Tijuana

Total Budget: $600

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

Activity Type: Health: Disease

Summary: To reduce high levels of infection, we will provide 3-ply masks and sanitizing supplies to Tijuana police officers.

As first responders, the Tijuana police officers have experienced high levels of COVID-19 infection and death due to limited masks and disinfecting supplies. This grant provides funding for equipment including 3-ply masks and/or sanitizing supplies for the police precinct. Our partner club, the Rotary Club of Tijuana will manage the purchase of the materials and their distribution to the police department.
