Summary: Four wheelbarrows, two weed wackers, and two lawn bags for New Roots Community Garden in City Heights

There is a 2.2-acre community garden that gives refugees access to plots of land near their homes so that they can farm. The garden is in need of basic gardening tools so that the users can effectively and sustainably grow their own food. The City Heights Rotaract Club has planned a community service event with the New Roots Community Garden that is scheduled for September 12, 2020. During the event, City Heights Rotoract members will be using the wheelbarrows, weed whackers, and lawn bags to maintain overgrown areas. The four wheelbarrows, two weed whackers, and lawn bags would be donated to the New Roots garden at the end of the service event.

The City Heights Rotoract Club believes that the New Roots garden promotes the goodwill and peace of the community by improving the health of the members.
