Project Description Country: USA Location: Elmhurst, IL Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: This project created sensory pathways in the hallways of Elmhurst District 205’s Madison Early Childhood Education Center to provide room for students on sensory break. This is an Early Childhood Education District Grant project. Classroom spacing requirements during the Coronavirus Pandemic have meant moving students on sensory break into the hallways outside their classrooms. This grant would install hallway decals to create sensory pathways in the Madison Early Childhood Education Center in Elmhurst. One Rotarian is the Supt. of Dist. 205 and at least two other Rotarians are former teachers. These three will take a direct interest in seeing this project to completion.
