Summary: WESTERN SPRINGS, IL


Annual Steak Fry lunch for First Responders and Veterans in the area. This project has been funded for many years. Approximately 250 veterans and 1st responders attend a Steak Fry held in their honor. Also attended by community leaders, state congress leaders and neighboring Rotary clubs.

Held every Friday at Noon after Labor Day. We promote, set up, cook, recognize, clean-up and celebrate our soldiers service.

Hi Richard,

This is an urgent reminder that your final report is overdue and should be submitted immediately, along with proof of payment. The deadline was May 31, 2022. If the final report is not submitted by June 15, 2022, the club will be required to return the grant funds to the District for return to the Rotary Foundation.

The club's project was underwritten by another organization and the club spent no money. The club will be returning the $425 DDF to the District. As a result, Stewardship is requesting that this grant be closed and that we be notified on receipt of return of $425 DDF. WL/LG
