Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Montpelier

Total Budget: $8,844

Area of Focus: Community economic development

Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation

Summary: Replacement of Public Address System at the Bear Lake High School football and track facility benefiting athletes and fans, plus cheerleaders and other entertainment.

The existing public address (PA) system is close to nonfunctioning. An estimate for replacing the system by a professional company has been obtained. The Rotary Club members will be involved by being responsible for final grading and seeding of any ground disturbing activities and will help with some of the low voltage wiring. The Club will be featured in news articles about the projects. A Quote for the project is uploaded in "documents" and dated October of 2019 because that is when we were approached by the High School Football Coach. The club anticipates the final cost to be higher and is financially capable of covering the cost if higher and/or full requested DDF is not awarded. Project is anticipated to be installed in August of 2021.
