Project Description Country: USA Location: Aurora, IL Total Budget: $355 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Volunteer Services Summary: Host a Christmas Party for economically disadvantaged 1st graders in the Aurora area. The Club provides funds and helps with the preparation and hosting of a Christmas party for approximately 30 1st graders in the Aurora area. The Rosary High School Interact Club runs the activities at the party including games, crafts, food, a visit from Santa and assembling a goodie bag to take home. An age appropriate book is included. 2-3 Club members help with this project. The Club has supported this project for several years with the Interact Club.
