Project Description Country: Kenya Location: Machakos Total Budget: $550 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Volunteer Services Summary: Strengthen and expand mentoring program for At-Risk Youth. The prolonged closure of schools during Covid - 19 pandemic rendered many young school youth idle in Machakos, Kenya. Society ills crept in and negatively impacted many youths. Paul Mue Foundation a Kenya based non-governmental organization has established a volunteer program to mentor the affected youth and is in need of funding to expand the program. This grant will donate $550.00 to Paul Mue Foundation in Kenya. The funds will be applied towards continued volunteer educational mentorship programs for at-risk youth.
