Project Description Country: USA Location: Oceanside & North County Total Budget: $4,500 Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Basic education and literacy, Community economic development, The environment Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: We provide Scholarship Support to local High School, Middle School And Community College Students as well as supporting our lnteract Group and Youth Support through YMCA events for youth and families. We support our local youth through sponsorships to Interact Training & facilitating at meetings and events. We Support our local High School Students with Scholarships for Community Service & Environment work recognition and provide an award and a dinner to honor the students with their families. We Acknowledge the National Honor Society Students at our local High School with awards and a dinner to honor the students with their families each year. We support at least 4 students with fees to cover costs of RYLA. We cover at least 4 students with the fees to cover costs of LEAD. We support our Community College with Scholarships. We support Youth services through YMCA Mottino for Student programs and Military family YMCA holiday support. We may contribute to Boys and Girls Club, Hands of Peace Program and other youth programs that benefit youth in our area including Operation Hope North County.
