Health Supplies for Lebanon Refugee Settlement Project
Rotarians from the Naperville clubs and Aurora clubs are working together to help TheHealthImpact NGO improve the health and daily quality of life of Syrian refugees in the settlements in the Zahle and Bar Elias areas of the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.
Rotarians are collecting needed basic medical, health and hygiene supplies that will improve the quality of life of the refugees. The supplies will be collected, loaded on a pallet for a planned shipment to Lebanon.
These funds will be used for Rotarian-led Days for Girls, Aurora chapter to produce 200 reusable menstrual hygiene kits for the refugees. Pam Bellm (Aurora) will be managing the Days for Girls project.
This is a District 6450 project led by Rotarians from Naperville and Aurora.
