Summary: The Children's Lunch Box provides food to under served children in eight title I schools and summer meals in the Anchorage area.

Children have returned to school in a CV-19 in a economic depressed environment in Anchorage, This has not changed over the last year. Now with high inflation and the cost of food and gas are on the rise, it is even more essential to continue to support Children's Lunch Box. They are a community based organization that provides meals to under served children.. This is more effective during the school year.As in the past, we will continue to assist them with maintenance and upgrading of the commercial kitchen equipment for Children's Lunch Box. This service has expressed a need for Rotary of Anchorage Hillside to continue to support. In additon to club funds, members will will source equipment to meet their needs. Club members will also Volunteer time and advise CLB on ways to to increase the efficiency of their service. The program with the help of Rotary of Anchorage Hillside over the past four years has been able to increase it's services to better serve the community. There is an estimated 20,000 children who have benefited from this program.
