Project Description Country: USA Location: Hastings Ne Total Budget: $1,500 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Painting US maps on elementary school playgrounds The playground map project was an idea inspired by an idea of partnering with local schools to include something fun on their playground, while providing an opportunity to teach kids about the geography of the United States. Our goal will be to paint the map on each playground at our area elementary schools. Project funds will be used to purchase paint & supplies (brushes, rollers, etc.).
