Project Description Country: USA Location: Naperville Total Budget: $768 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Peace: General Summary: Holiday gifts provided to underpriveleged children in Naperville, IL school district 203 This has become an annual service project for our club. We work with the Naperville Education Foundation and Naperville School District 203 to provide gifts for kids who would not otherwise receive gifts at the holidays. We plan to provide at least 8 gifts (valued at $50 each) and raise money to purchase additional gifts and/or to donate to NEF for gift certificates for older kids. We obtain kids' wish lists and club members purchase gifts. We are having a special meeting this year to do gift wrapping together to promote fellowship and working together to complete the project. Club members will deliver the wrapped gifts to the school district.
