Project Description Country: USA Location: Placentia Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Placentia Blessing Box Support The city blessing boxes are honor system food pantries where people can take food and hygiene supplies for those in need in the Placentia community. Because of the pandemic, the boxes have seen a dramatic increase in their usage. Also many organizations and community members have been unable to make donations like they have in the past. Placentia Rotary has stepped in to fill the void. They will make sure that the boxes are stocked throughout the year, regularly cleaned, and properly maintained. The club will also include similar type pantry items for the Veterans Village in Placentia. See attached application form.
