The city blessing boxes are honor system food pantries where people can take food and hygiene supplies for those in need in the Placentia community. Because of the pandemic, the boxes have seen a dramatic increase in their usage. Also many organizations and community members have been unable to make donations like they have in the past. Placentia Rotary has stepped in to fill the void. They will make sure that the boxes are stocked throughout the year, regularly cleaned, and properly maintained. The club will also include similar type pantry items for the Veterans Village in Placentia. See attached application form.

This project is "Paid". This means that the funds from the district have been issued. This project is now being ready for implementation. When this is done, a report needs to be uploaded on the project page and the "Reported" button needs to be clicked, then the status of the project will be changed to "Reported".
