OC Higher Ground is able to identify youth in high-risk environments and provide them mentorship, and a safe, caring space for growth. The OC Higher Ground project will provide much needed supplies, education and grounds aesthetics to help the organization serve youth in elementary, middle, and high school students.
Their organization is focusing on awareness programs so students can avoid human trafficking, and unsafe behaviors. They serve between 100-150 students in the Anaheim area on an ongoing basis. They ensure a peaceful place for students to do sports, gain nutrition, enrichment and family services. The grants will meet the educational service goal of the club
10-15 Rotarians and Non-Rotarians in a yearlong program will assist with upgrading their environment, providing supplies, support after school sports

OC Higher Ground has 2 grants - 4380 and 4381
4381 was for 4 RYLA students but only 2 were identified - the cost of $850 was paid - $425 in DDF and $425 in Club funds.
The remaining DDF is being transferred to DG 4380 - the balance that needs to be spent on the grant or returned to the District is $1,127 in Club Funds and $1,127 in DDF. The money needs to be spent as described in District Grant P-4380.
