Summary: Support the return and growth of tutoring for students after COVID-19 closures
|
The Village Library, run by the non-profit Mission Central, is an afterschool tutoring program that targets high-need students identified by the local school district. The Library switched to online tutoring during COVID-19 restrictions. The Library has now reopened for in-person tutoring, but has a waiting list and is restricted to specific grade levels. This donation will help the Village Library continue growing their capacity to provide in-person tutoring and support for more high-need students. The Rotary Club also supports the Village Library as volunteer tutors.
