Since 2019, the Burley Rotary Club has provided basic school supplies to local schools for needy children. Many local students lack basic necessities like backpacks, pencils, paper crayons, markers and headphones. Burley Rotary Club supplies Cassia County School District with an assortment of supplies to provide these students as needed throughout the year. This helps these students participate with their peers and maintain their dignity in the education environment.
Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)
The project is administered by Burley Rotary Club members. Club members contacted Cassia County School administration to assess common current needs of low-income students. Club members order supplies and deliver them to the local schools to be distributed by each school's staff as specific needs are identified. Between ordering and delivering the supplies to the six district elementary schools in the county, club members spend 30-40 hours on the project.
Paid
This project is "Paid". This means that the funds from the district have been issued. This project is now being ready for implementation. When this is done, a report needs to be uploaded on the project page and the "Reported" button needs to be clicked, then the status of the project will be changed to "Reported".

You have applied for a tier 3 grant project(total financing > $2762). A detailed spending plan is required for all tier 3 grants. Since your club is limited to a maximum of $1,381 of DDF, you could avoid the spending plan by lowering your total to $2,762. In the end you can always spend more club money. Lowering the financing will also make your reporting easier. It's up to you whether to change the financing or provide the spending plan. Deadline for signed applications is June 1st.

Your grant application is lacking the electronic signature of your incoming club president. It is not complete and turned in for consideration until she signs. Deadline is June 1st. It may be that we had a bad email address for her in the system. I've updated with her current address shown in ClubRunner.

D5400 Grants committee has reviewed your application and wants more description & clarity on the extent of Rotarian involvement. On the administration side of the description tab, click "edit project page", where you can write this in the addendum, describing the process of the number of Rotarians involved and specifically what they'll be doing. We intend to add your project to the district's block grant application to TRF, but will not fund your project until the addendum is provided. In the meantime, do not spend any money or order supplies, as you cannot reimburse yourself for incurred costs prior to approval of the block grant by TRF. Wait till you hear from us before you start spending. Thank you! Call if questions: 208 308-5617.

Please do not reply to this email. You should have received your grant by now, mailed to your club’s mailing address Aug. 11. We are using a bill payer service this year, and the envelope will look different than in the past. Please tell your treasurer to watch for it, and not to discard. Please call me if you don’t have your check (208) 308-5617. Ignore the physical address on the check – D5400 is still PO Box 9592, Boise, ID 83707.
