Project Description Country: USA Location: Aledo, TX Total Budget: $741 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: We will be providing each local elementary school with a set of books on peace to promote literacy and education on peace. As peace is one of the focuses of Rotary, we are providing a set of books on peace to each of the Aledo Independent School District Elementary Schools and our local library to educate children on peace and bring visibility to Rotary. We plan to schedule reading sessions in the schools for Rotarians to read these books in the classrooms as a service project.
