Project Description Country: USA Location: Channahon Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Special needs children are supported by a day at the Channahon Fair. The Village of Channahon's park district, several Rotary clubs including Joliet Rotary Club, and the Lions Club come together to provide children with special needs a day of community and fun. The program includes swimming, clowns, karaoke, crafts, therapy dogs and seeing reptiles. Each year 15 - 20 Rotarians participate from the Joliet Club.
