Summary: Providing kitchen appliances and storage shelving to help store food and clothing for the children within our School District 25
Bannock Youth Foundation is a home for children in our school district to live as they are not able to live with their parents. We have identified that their kitchen equipment such as pots, pans, utensils, microwave, and refrigerator are in need of being replaced or repaired. This grant money will be able to give them just about all that the need for less than $500.
Pocatello/Chubbuck School District #25 has approximately 150 students who are homeless this year. We have been working with the School District to help them organize a storage room which could be used to hold food and clothing for these children. Purchasing storage shelves for the School District will allow them to organize and make more room for the items that are being donated by several organizations. The are also in need of a refrigerator to store gallons of milk for the students.
