Project Description Country: USA Location: Tustin Ca Total Budget: $5,660 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Tustin BUDGET $5826.00. CLUB MAY HAVE TO PROVIDE MORE DEPENDING UPON TEACHER IDEAS PRESENTED. Teachers in the Tustin Unified School District live are requesting funds for new projects that want to institute. Tustin Unified School District has not provided funds for these projects. The teacher good ideas allows us to help the teachers purchase various materials for their ideas. Rotarians are able to determine what new projects to fund and see how they work by talking with the teachers themselves. Total budget for the project is $4000 that will provide each teacher who is selected to be funded for their project for the coming school year. The Tustin/Santa Ana Rotary club has budgeted $3000 and requests a $2660 match from District 5320. Publicity will be in school district weekly online video. Club members will: 1. Contact the teachers in the TUSD. 2. Evaluate project ideas from various elementary, middle schools and high school teachers. Approximately 40% of Rotarians are involved throughout the process. Sustainability: The Club started this program approximately over 26 years ago and it was well received by the Tustin Unified School District and will continue to do this into the future. The match allows the Club to increase the number of projects funded.
