Project Description Country: USA Location: Irvine Total Budget: $2,668 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: We purchase holiday gifts, wrap them and distribute to 6;000 seniors in nursing facilities in Orange and Riverside County. We're so excited to support the SmileMakers program, happening in partnership with the Council on Aging. This initiative is all about bringing joy and happiness to seniors in our community who may be feeling isolated or lonely. Through the SmileMakers program, We purchase holiday gifts, wrap them and distribute to 6;000 seniors in nursing facilities in Orange and Riverside County.We believe that every person deserves to feel valued and appreciated, no matter their age or background. This supports their mental health. Our club is proud to be working with the Council on Aging to deliver this important service.
