Project Description Country: USA Location: Buckeye Total Budget: $1,464 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Weekly Readersfrom Rotary supplied to 3rd and 4th graders at Buckeye Elementary school this school is 90% reduced or free lunch The objective is to provide reading materials for the 3rd and 4th graders, exposing them to world-wide current events. Current event reading material is not available in the majority of their homes. The continuous program allows the children to see/read about others in the world. The event started in August and will end in May.
