Project Description Country: USA Location: Lakewood, CA Total Budget: $5,296 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: The funds will be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies. Working with Project Shepherd, underprivileged students are identivied and they are provided with fully stocked backpacks. As previously stated, the funds will purchase backpacks and school supplies. Club members will be involved with the purchase of backpacks and supplies, stuffing of the backpacks and finally, presenting them to the students.
