The University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) is constructing University Village. Here is UNK's vision on University Village.:

University Village continues to expand and grow into a unique and vibrant development. Located next to the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus, the development allows an opportunity to unite the university and community into one integrated experience. With a diversified, strategic plan based on education, residential and commercial opportunities and recreation, University Village enables collaboration that will benefit the community, region and the state of Nebraska. With this excitement and growth, all are encouraged to take a bold step, explore and find what the development has to offer you!"
The Rotary street clock will be an outdoor post displaying the current time and will add a sense of community and nostalgia to the University Village. University students as well as the community visiting the University Village will see the Rotary street clock while walking the area. It will provide a great public image of Rotary to all who see the clock. The exact location and the installation timeline as still unknown at this point. However, our members have been working with the UNK staff to secure a location. We hope to have the street clock installed sometime between the fall of 2023 and the summer of 2024.
