In conjunction with Rise Against Hunger Organization, Orange Plaza Rotary Club Members and it's Intereact Club members at El Modena High School, bring volunteers to pack meal packs to be sent to under served rural villages in The Philippines.
Funds provided by Orange Plaza, along with DDF Grant share, will be used to purchase foods, and packaging from Rise Against Hunger Organization. A deposit will be sent to Rise Against Hunger, at the time their service is booked.
Club Members, Family, Interactors, Advisors, and other non-Rotarian volunteers (30+) measures, hand packs 4 different freeze-dried foods into packets that have to be weighed for accuracy, then sealed, labeled and crated into boxes, ready for oversees shipping. Volunteers also help set up the room being used, and help breakdown, and clean up after.
