Project Description Country: USA Location: McCook, NE Total Budget: $1,216 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Providing tumbling equipment to McCook Nebraska YMCA for kids classes 1.5 to 5 years old The McCook YMCA is adding tumbling classes to its curriculum for kids 1 1/2 to 5 years old, with the possibility of expanding to additional age groups as the program develops. This new program requires specialized equipment to be purchased in the summer 2023 for classes the following autumn. For the McCook Rotary Club's involvement in the project, members will participate in the YMCA's annual Healthy Kids Day in the spring of 2024, which will involve tumbling demonstrations and showcasing the new equipment.
