Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Eastern Tijuana Total Budget: $7,000 Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health, Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: Build a Home for Family in Need in Eastern Tijuana Project Mercy, a 501(c)(3) organization constructs homes to improve the basic living standards and quality of life for impoverished families who live in difficult conditions in Mexico. For 16+ years, the Chula Vista Rotary Club has partnered with Project Mercy to build homes by providing funds for materials, as well as Club members and others to contruct the home. We also provided an outhouse.
