Summary: Crisis Transportation for needy people in the North East Tarrant County area.
North East Emergency Distribution (NEED) is a 501(c)3 service that helps meet crisis needs of famiies in the NE Tarrant County area. One need addressed is transportation. This is primarily focused on transportation for medical treatment, employment opportunities or other immediate transportation needs. NEED purchases transportation passes from another non-profit, HEB Transit. These passes are made available to people who come to, or contact the NEED locations (NEED East or NEED West) seeking assistance. The grant will go to help NEED meet the transportation needs of families in the 17 zip code are NEED serves.

Crisis Transportation is an annual project for NEED. As NEED helps thousands of families in the NE Tarrant County area, when needs for transportation are apparent NEED seeks to help. We are blessed to be a blessing and blessed by HEB Rotary.
