They have conducted several workshops in schools to bring awareness and also provide initial screening with Blood Glucose meters.
Pune municipal corporation with approximately 297 primary schools and 30 secondary/high schools is the area of focus of this project. The purpose of this district grant is to educate, screen and train the teachers and students about diabetic awareness with the help and assistance and guidance of the local NGO.
