With COVID-19, Anti-Asian sentiments, and financial issues on the rise, stress, depression, and anxiety have become common. Society is currently facing mental health challenges. Depression and anxiety have become prevalent in adolescents. The overall purpose of this one-day, five 15-minute sessions is to raise awareness around mental health, challenges, and how to foster comfortable and open spaces where we can discuss living healthy lives. Club members will engage in activities to enhance their understanding of the significance and importance of discussion and awareness around mental health. Club members will participate in this workshop to encourage meaningful discussions around mental health within families, schools, and communities. Funds will be used for supplies such as computer equipment, markers, papers, and cups as well as printing of certificates for participation.
