Project Description Country: USA Location: Hurst, TX Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Support afterschool tutoring program for high-need students The Village Library, run by the non-profit Mission Central, is an afterschool tutoring program that targets high-need students identified by the local school district. Although the tutors are all volunteers, the program has overhead costs for materials, utilities, and similar expenses. This donation will help the Village Library continue growing their capacity to provide in-person tutoring and support for more high-need students. The Rotary Club also supports the Village Library as volunteer tutors.
