Children of Incarcerated Parents at "Children of Promise" are in dire need of extracurricular activities, recreation, and additional learning opportunities, particularly outside the confines of the protective shelter of their caring institution. Our club members will be joining with the staff members of COP to plan, organize and implement a specific field trip by contributing to the expenses of the trip that will be arranged by COP for the benefit of the Children of Incarcerated Parents.
The Children, who are about 6 to 10 years of age, will always be under the protective care and supervision of the teachers and staff of the Organization, while they are outside.
Our Club proposes to provide the expenses for the transportation back and forth, the cost of any tickets to the venue of the trip, the cost of meals for the children, among other things, while on the outing.
