Project Description Country: USA Location: Grapevine, Texas Total Budget: $10,094 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: Dictionaries for 3rd Grade students; Computers for ECHS graduates; Scholarships for TCC Culinary Arts students 1. Webster's Encyclopedic Dictionaries for all GCISD 3rd grade students ($3,648). 2. Provide computers to all 40 needy graduates of the TCCD Collegiate Academy ($6,000+/-). 40 students who will graduate from the CA are from low-income families and we propose to purchase their used computers for them to use in the next stage of their career path. 3. Scholarships for Culinary Arts students at Tarrant County College, all of which qualify for financial aid ($445+/-).
