Summary: Provide Flag Pole, landscaping and Rotary sign at the new Boy's Ranch on the Oregon Trail serving troubled young boys, Alliance, NE.
This project is designed to promote Rotary International on the campus of the "Boy's Ranch..on the Oregon Trail," a new privately-funded program to help reform young boys who have a history of addiction and abuse problems. The proposal includes a 25 foot tall Flag Pole surrounded by a red brick base (4 foot by 8 foot concrete base that's three feet high)and a 30" X 60" black polish granite stone with appropriate engraved lettering that will include the Rotary wheel. The project will cost $5,000 including donated materials and an American flag. The project timeline for completion is October, 2014. Dan Meinert, an active member of the Alliance Rotary Club, is the Executive Director for this local program of Teen Challenge of The Midlands. Coke McClure, President-Elect for the Alliance Rotary Club, will be overseeing this project working with Dan and his staff.
