Members of the Imperial Rotary Club in Imperial, NE are hosting a Hospi-riety Show (variety show of local talent) on June 13 to benefit essential needs at Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Nebraska. District Designated Funds would be used to cover expenses for the event such as refreshments, ticket and poster printing, advertising, etc. Not only will funds raised at the event be of great benefit to the hospital for needed equipment, doctor recruitment, ongoing education but community awareness of how important the hospital is to Chase County will be emphasized. Rotary members will be involved by selling tickets, getting silent auction items lined up, arranging the talent for the show, arranging for and serving food, decorating, having presence at the event.
Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)
$4,500 was raised at the Hospi-riety Show organized by the Imperial Rotary Club. The local community foundation joined in the efforts and announced a $15,000 grant to the project at the event. All $19,500 from the night was matched by a donor. Folks of all ages enjoyed the fellowship and humor which provided entertainment. Rotary facts were shared when the Hospital Foundation Director was named as a Paul Harris Fellow.
