John Kelsall has been an active and dedicated Rotarian since 2006. He is a past club President and is currently serving as Public Relations Chair. Sadly, John and his wife Teri, lost their only son Jonas Kelsall in 2011. Jonas, a Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander, was killed in Afghanistan in 2011. Since Jonas's passing, the Kelsalls have dedicated themselves to helping military families across the nation. Their non-profit organization "The Jonas Project" provides financial support and professional resources to military veterans aiming to start their own business. The Rotary Club of Lakewood has stood behind John in his efforts to support America's military veterans. Carrying this support forward, the members of Rotary Club of Lakewood will dedicate themselves to serve a military veteran in the Lakewood community with a home improvement project.
