Summary: provide two $1500 scholarships for college for low income students
Our club would like to partner with Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano to partially funds two $1,500 college scholarships. Breakthrough is a program designed to provide specialized training and tutoring via a private school (St. Margaret's Episcopal School)for lower income students in our community that otherwise could not afford to attend. Breakthrough provides tuition free academic programs for 6 through 12 grades with selected students completing a rigorous application and interview process. Students selected to be in the Breakthrough program volunteer their time teaching younger lower income students, must maintain high grades, and volunteer at numerous community events.
