Project Description Country: USA Location: Big Lake AK Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General Summary: Support Nutritional needs of children in the Big Lake AK area during the summer months. Club will partner with the Food Pantry of Wasilla to supplement summer "meals program. School programs cease during the summer. Our involvement will bring fresh (rather than processed) fruits and vegetables to the meals provided by the food pantry. Member participation will include information day at start of program and assistance with the delivery of the meals during the summer.
