With funding, 2015 will be the 4th annual Laguna Niguel Dental Clinic. There are low income families living in Laguna Niguel who do not have dental insurance and cannot afford dental care for their children. Our club plans to partner again with the AYUDA International Dental Clinic in November, 2015. AYUDA provides dental x-rays, exams, cleanings and basic procedure (such as fillings). There are dentist Rotarians in our Laguna Niguel Club who also assist. The majority of our Club members participate by handling location/logistics, marketing the event, greeting and registering the children, entertaining the kids while waiting for treatment, and passing out educational materials that provide information about maintaining good oral health. Grant funding, in conjunction with club dollars, will be used to pay for cleanings and kids dental kits. Approximately 80-100 children have been served over the last three annual dental clinics.
