Rotary Club: Fallbrook Village Project Title: Ben and Now 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Fallbrook Village Rotary volunteered to read to and distribute a book titled Now and Ben to every 3rd grader in the FUESD. Rotarians read to Mae Ellis, La Poloma, Fraizer, Fallbrook Street, Mary Fae Pendleton, Fallbrook STEM, Homeschool and San Onofre students. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 566 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? All 3rd grade students in the FUESD were included in our clubs Literacy Program. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 10 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Rotarians read, asked questions regarding the historical events mentioned in the book and distributed a book to each 3rd grade student in the school district. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? The state and teachers in the FUESD assisted with organising the students into the schools library and maintained a learning environment. 7. Income
