Rotary Club: Fallbrook Village Project Title: FLC Gird Trail Project 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Fallbrook Land Conservancy is in the process of constructing a large, permanent sign for their Gird Valley Preserve. Funds were utilized toward the deposit on the sign so that the sign shop could begin construction. 2. How many people benefited from this project? >1,000/yr. 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Community members from Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Rainbow that routinely use the Gird Valley Trail will benefit, as will the Land Conservancy in augmenting the quality of the open space environment. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 5 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Coordinated sign logistics and multi-phase planning for trail improvement. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? Fallbrook Land Conservancy. Created the Gird Valley Preserve trail with their fellow Fallbrook Land Conservancy volunteers. 7. Income

District must retain receipts of all expenditures for at least five years. By signing this report, I confirm that to the best of my knowledge these District Grant funds were spent only for eligible items in accordance with Trustee-approved guidelines, and that all of the information contained herein is true and accurate.
