Rotary Club: National City Project Title: Low Income Holiday Support 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? This project was organized to support our local high school students who are pregnant and or have children who needed support for the holidays. Gifts purchased in November and the distributed in December. Gifts were wrapped at our Rotary meeting and distributed to San Diego Workforce Innovation High School students. 2. How many people benefited from this project? Approx. 75 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Students who expressed holiday support such as gifts and clothing signed up to receive gifts for their children. Because of our donation, high school students were able to provide warm clothes and or a holiday gift to their child or children. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 7 5.
