This year; our Club plans to construct a system, for Reuse of Grewywater in a Dormitory for Girl Students which is a part of an High School at Ankara - Bala Village. Here; you can find a small explanation about our project:
Greywater at a Glance;
Greywater is any domestic wastewater, excluding sewage, (blackwater) With proper treatment; greywater can be put to good use. These uses include water for toilet flushing and also irrigation of plants. The nutrients in the greywater (such as phosphorus and nitrogen) provide an excellent food source for these plants.
Two major benefits of greywater use are :
Reducing the need for fresh water and thus demands on public water supply to provide a broader community benefit. Significantly reduce household water bills
Reasons to choose Ankara - Bala Village and the Dormitory for Girl Students:
• Positive approach and collaboration of the provincial directorate of national education in Bala • Convenience of the designated building for both the objective and implementation • Favourable location to monitor utilization and provide training to raise awareness • Sustainability • Suitable for related projects such as education of girl students
