Project Description

Region: South-East Asia

Country: Nepal

Location: Patan-Kathmandu-Kavre

Total Budget: $95,500

Area of Focus: Economic and community development

To Offer 400+ micro credit loans to new borrowers and existing borrowers with small, successful but under capitalized businesses and farmers who want and need additional capital to expand and grow needed services to their local community, and their own profitability. With the recent earthquake in Nepal, many people have lost their livelihood and many people do not have steady income to rebuild their business and houses. Therefore Rotary Districts 7510 and 3292 are working to help economically disadvantaged people in Nepal.

Received e-mail on 7/16/2017 from Rtn Dharma Jajra Bajracharya. Stated that he has frequent correspondence with Laura Bradley, Regional Grant Officer, Rotary grant. He stated that he had "correspondence with her on some clarification she needed in a couple of matters for which I received her email of July 12, 2017. Therefore we are eagerly waiting for email from TRF for approval of our GG application no.1533341."

I also sent e-mail chain of clarification to Dave Breeding et al regarding confusion of Semper Fi funding.
